Julie Blake is a music supervisor and producer known for creating distinctive sonic experiences. For over 20 years, she has curated soundtracks that elevate storytelling across a range of mediums including film, TV, immersive installations, and live theatre. Throughout her career, Julie has held senior leadership roles at some of the music industry's most ground-breaking labels and publishers, including Ninja Tune, Third Side Music, and Erased Tapes.
Julie is also the founder and director of AURA Productions, a UK-based music supervision and creative studio that collaborates with a roster of innovative contemporary composers to deliver genre-defying soundscapes for both screen and stage.
Julie has previously contributed her expertise to theatrical productions such as Lost Atoms (Frantic Assembly), Green Space Dark Skies (Walk The Plank / BBC), Blade Runner and Stranger Things (Secret Cinema), Heisenberg - Wyndham’s Theatre (Elliott & Harper), Between Two Fires (Alexander Whitley Dance Company) and Heroes - Saint Ann’s Warehouse (Spiegelworld).
